essio is a DISCOVERY PLATFORM helping conscious consumers shop invest in value-driven brands. Launched as Willas first fully incubated product to uplift and share the stories of brands choosing to do things better.

This project is especially meaningful to us as founders have been the driving force and ongoing inspiration behind our agency’s work. We believe in the need for more sustainable manufacturing, conscious culture, and more diversity in the brands we see make it to the top.

The logotype is custom-set from the primary brand typeface in order to achieve synergy across all touch points. A refined color palette and grid-based framework usage enables the visual identity to play a supportive role in framing a diverse collection of visual assets.

We reimagine the product discovery experience by placing more focus on the stories, mission, and founders behind each brand. This allows users to explore and invest in brands they align with. The introduction of value tags based on our who/what/why metrics, creates a familiar UI, allowing the user to intuitively browse similar products and brands.

A flexible component system on brand pages allows each brand to have individually tailored experiences that best showcase their values.

The essio identity needed to flood effortless into all mediums from print to new digital frontiers. Layout and type application creates a unique, yet sympathetic experience without feeling overbearing.
